Ultrasound #2!

Adam and I went back to the doctor today to have the NT Scan done Everything looked great at today's appointment. We also had the gender test done. We will get the results back next week!!

At this week's appointment Baby Mille was 3.5 inches long and had a heartbeat of 168 bmp. The baby was very active today! It's amazing the changes since our 10 week ultrasound. This week you can see the facial features so much better.

Baby....

As I sit down and write tonight, I'm at a loss for words to describe how I am feeling right now. Adam and I are both ecstatic and can't believe that we are going to be parents soon! Yesterday we had our 2nd appointment with Dr. Davis. At today's visit we were able to hear our baby's heartbeat and finally get to see a picture of him/her! The baby is about 1 1/2 inches long and it's heart beat was 188 bpm. She said everything looks perfectly fine and we have nothing to worry about at this point. In 4 weeks we are going to go back and take a Jack and Jill genetics test. At 14 weeks, they are able to determine the sex of the baby through the mother's blood. I really don't think at this point we can wait until 20 weeks to find out! This test is 98% accurate, it's better than 50/50 right?!

Our due date is set at January 15th. Our baby will share a birthday very close to Trish and Jamie.

I couldn't ask for a more supportive and patient husband throughout this whole process. I am so lucky to have Adam as my husband!! I really can't imagine not havig him here with me to share the joy that I am experiencing:)
